Lycée Georges Brassens

Lycée Georges Brassens is a high school located in the 19th arrondissement of Paris close to the academy of dance and music conservatory CNSMDP.

There are 300 students between 14 and 18 years old who study there part time, either in the mornings or in the afternoons; The second half of their days is dedicated to artistic activities such as dancing, playing and studying music, acting or sports training. Some of our students study at the nearby Paris Academy of Dance and Music Conservatory CNSMDP, others study at the CNR (Paris Music Conservatory) others in diverse academies and conservatoires. They come from all regions of France and we also have foreign students (Belgium, The Netherlands...). They belong to very diverse social and economic backgrounds.::
The highschool has recently been renovated, it has a brand new dance studio, a music room, science laboratories and a computer room.

The languages taught at the school are English, German, Spanish and Italian. Students can also have a major in dance or music. The highschool has an orchestra which gives concerts every year.
Students also perform yearly at the school artistic festival. Regular jam sessions are organized by students so they get to create stronger bonds and learn from each others' practice in a friendly atmosphere.
The teachers and students work closely with the school's partners ( music conservatory and academies of dance) on a number of artistic projects.
