Podemos poner formato utilizando el editor de texto, seleccionando y pulsando los botones para negrita B, cursiva I, subrayado U ... pero en realidad lo que hace el ẃiki es utilizar códigos. Podemos también escribir directamente esos códigos y tendremos el mismo efecto. Por ejemplo para la negrita bastará poner doble guión bajo delante y detrás del texto a subrayar. Para la cursiva una doble comilla simple delante y detrás y para el subrayado tres símbolos de igual.
