Our school, Bahçelievler Anatolian High School,is located in Çorum. It is 260 kilometers away from Ankara. It started providing education with 136 students in 2015. There are 540 students, 30 teachers, 3 administrators and 1 school counselor in our school which has 16 classes, 1 library, 3 science laboratories, 2 language classes, 1 music and 1 art studio. The age of the students range between 14-18.
Our school pursues a policy aiming success also in the fields of culture, art and sports along with academic studies. For this reason, the school actively includes social clubs in education. Football, indoor football (futsal), basketball, handball and badminton teams which are trained by two physical education teachers in our school have been quite successful. Along with that, piano, guitar, baglama courses, solo and chorus activities, folk dance and dance practices, drama, theatre, poetry recitation, discussion contests, art studies, making model airplane, gardening, table tennis, mind games, chess are the activities that the students of our school participate willingly and express themselves.
We observe that students make up for their deficiencies in the social life and forget about their problems through these activities. Our school tries to actively participate in Tübitak, E-twinning and European Union projects.
Our school works in cooperation with universities, organizations, research centers and carries out joint projects. While creating the project team of our school,teachers who have received training in their field, have high professional experience and competence, have certificates and documents related to the subject and European Union projects, and teachers with advanced inquiry skills were preferred.
